In 2006 I’ve created this website that provides on-line help for the Ubuntu Linux free operating system and applications. Ubuntupedia is my personal contribution to Open Source software and to Linux – I’ve written most of it’s pages and promoted it without any paid advertising. The goal was to produce a manual that is easy to understand for anyone, even if they never used Linux before.
Unfortunately the site is not being updated since the beginning of 2007. It has 330 pages and 1259 registered users. In it’s best months had between 350 and 550 visitors a day.
